I grew up in rural western Pennsylvania among the countryside of Amish farmlands. I had an interest for photography at a very young age. Like many other young aspiring photographers, my first camera was a Kodak Brownie. During my college years I worked for the collegiate newspaper as a sports photographer. Besides sports, I enjoyed still life and landscape assignments. As my skills in photography grew I realized that my “hobby” could serve as my career. It was early 2006, that I decided to begin working professionally as a portrait photographer.
As a member of Professional Photographers of America, it is my responsibility to continually educate myself in the discipline of photography. New developments happen on a daily basis. Staying informed of any advancements is a must. I do this through available seminars, website training, advanced college photography classes and continual reading and studying of books and periodicals.
Today, my home is north of Chicago in Lake County, Illinois. where I serve my customer’s photographic needs in Lake, McHenry and Cook Counties of Illinois and Kenosha and Racine Counties in Wisconsin.
